Reda Smith has been a member of the Geomatics Group at CDP/ MapSync for the past 19 years. She currently serves as Senior Staff Surveyor and Easement Development Coordinator and fully embraces the vision of providing sustainable solutions through integrating conventional surveying and mapping practices with new technology.

Reda graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1974 with a Bachelor of Social Work degree. She entered the Land Surveying profession in 1981 and became a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in 1996. Reda, in her role as Easement Development Coordinator, has integrated traditional surveying techniques with state-of-the-art mapping/CADD technology, Global Positioning System (GPS) and Geographic Information System (GIS) tools and resources to achieve levels of quality, consistency and efficiency previously unattainable. Reda is committed to creating the highest quality solutions which benefit the client and protect and serve the public interest.

Reda lives in downtown Lexington, Kentucky, with her husband of 32 years, Ron Householder.
