David Carter;  President
David Carter has served as CDP / MapSync's president and CFO for over 30 years. He brings a unique skill set to guide MapSync into the future. David’s 30 years of experience integrating geospatial management and engineering tools, positions MapSync for future growth in asset management, sustainable solutions and innovative design.

David is a 1982 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a BSCE in Civil Engineering with high distinction. David is a licensed civil engineer and professional land surveyor. David’s engineering experience has focused on storm water management and modeling, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems and site development. Since 1994, David has integrated engineering and GIS into sustainable workflow products for communities, institutions and utilities as the founder of MapSync, a GPS/ GIS product and service-based company. As principle software architect of GeoSync software. (GeoSync, GeoSync XG, GeoSync Cloud)

David has an intimate knowledge and understanding of new technologies (cloud and mobile-based applications) and how they can be integrated with design services to provide sustainable solutions. Over the past 25 years, many innovations and technological advancements have occurred in the workplace, David has been a forward-thinking innovator in the development of these products and services into real-world applications. David is committed to producing the highest quality solutions for our current and future clients. David lives in Lexington, Kentucky with his wife Kathy of 30 years and has four children Josh, Jessica, Andrew and Kayla.
