For workstation updates:
On each computer running GeoSync IPS, click the link next to the workstation label under the version you are updating to.
When prompted click run, and when the download ends, click run again. This will open an installer. Click through the windows and then close the installer when finished.
For server updates:
On the server running GeoSync IPS, click the link next to the server label under the version you are updating to.
When prompted click run, and when the download ends, click run again. This will open an installer. Click through the windows and then close the installer when finished.

This update improves search and display operations along with resolving some issues created by Update 1.5. Update 1.5 must be applied before this update.
If the windows of the property screen are not showing on a computer, here are the steps to fix it:
- On the computer go to: C:\Documents and Settings\(Current Username)
- In the toolbar, go to tools > folder options
- Click the view tab of the new window
- There should be a heading labeled “Hidden files and folders”
- Underneath that, click the option to show hidden files and folders
- Click apply then OK
- Now you should be able to see a folder named Application Data
- Open that folder
- Find the following 4 files and delete them:
- inqGrid1.xml
- inqGrid2.xml
- propGridOwner.xml
- propGridSelect.xml
