3.2 Enhanced Features
 
  • Coordinate systems are definable in projects and projection settings are displayed for easy reference.
  • Map Views may now be saved to and reloaded from a GeoSync project.
  • Layer Reporting Enhancements including summation, statistics, and unique / duplicate feature reporting.
  • Grid Generation and Display tool is now introduced that allows the user to create and display a grid.
  • Layer Symbol Property tools have been enhanced for layer symbol viewing and selection and field range rendering.
  • New Selection / Buffer tools allow for enhanced feature manipulation and analysis.
  • Soils Classification and Value Analysis tools allow users to define soil classification cost assessments and calculate acreage and value of soil per parcel.
  • Latitude/Longitude Display and Conversion tools allow users to toggle the coordinate display and type in a latitude and longitude coordinate pair and display the location on the map view.
  • Enhanced Road and MSAG tools to aid the user in the synchronization of Master Street Address Guides (MSAG) and road layers.
  • Enhanced Point Offset tool to edit and update point layers from line layers is now available.
  • Bus Route Simulator tool is now introduced to allow users to animate, view and analyze school bus routes and stops.Kentucky Single Zone Projection is now supported

The GeoSync version 3.2 software release builds on the software improvements of version 3.0. As always, MapSync has focused its attention on the needs and priorities of our customers. We have included many enhancements to the usability and functionality of the software. We are very excited about our new modular approach allowing us to extend GIS functionality within specific applications while keeping the software easy to use and affordable for all users.
