A Polygon Feature is a closed geometric shape with vertices connected by three or more line segments.

• Polygon Features represent areas such as property boundaries (Parcels), building footprints, emergency zones, political boundaries, lakes, etc...   

• Common feature attribute data associated with Polygon Features include Area, Acres, Perimeter, Name, etc… (for more, see Update Length and Area)

• Polygons Features are displayed in GeoSync with a user-definable set of attributes: Outline Color, Fill Color, Fill Type, and Outline Width. (see Symbol Settings)
