Select Polygon

To activate: Toolbar, View menu / Select

Draw a polygon to define an area in which to search or select map features on a particular layer. Any feature on the current layer that lies entirely inside the polygon is selected.

To use:

1. Activate Select Polygon tool.

2. Click to begin drawing polygon.

3. Click for each break / corner / vertex.

4. Double click to finish drawing.

5. Selected features become highlighted.
