Buffer a Selection

To activate: Toolbar, View menu / Select

Use a selected map feature to create and define a buffer.

To use:

1. Select feature to be buffered.

2. Activate Buffer Selection tool.

3. A dialog appears. In the text box provided, enter an offset value. The units are in feet.

4. Select OK. Buffering lines appear surrounding the feature.
