Student Address Tool

To activate: Layer Tools / PW Students tab / Address Tools

Use the Student Address tool to reconcile spelling differences and/or address range problems between the GeoSyncŪ roads layer and PW Route student addresses.

To Use:

1. Activate Address Tools

2. Check the Rides>0 and the XY = 0 boxes.

3. Select the Load button.

4. Select the location to import or select all locations.

5. Values in the top box are road names from the roads layer; Values in the lower list box are non-matching addresses to be corrected.

6. Select the road name out of the roads list (i.e. Maple Ave).

7. Select the road name to be changed, from the lower list box (i.e. Maple Avenue).

8. With both lines highlighted, select the update button. This will change the street name in the student address to match the name in the roads layer. Be careful to select the correct road name.

9. Select Geocode Selection to refresh the list to exclude the corrections made, or correct several errors and then Geocode All to reflect changes.
