To activate: StopsTool Bar.
Draw points to approximate the location of a bus stop. Use to add stop points to both the map and the PW Route database. If the stops are set close enough to an existing student, the student will automatically be selected and assigned to the new drawn stop.
To Use:
Note: Verify Stop Settings before drawing stops.
Activate Draw Stops tool.
The cursor becomes a cross hair with a circle around it. The circle is the radius distance from the stop. This is useful to determine the best placement of the stop.
Click on the map at desired location to set the stop.
Stops will have address numbers and descriptions. The stop address can vary from the description.
Nearest Student address: The address of the closest student is the stop address.
Nearest Address Match:The nearest address to the selected map point.
Intersection: The description of the intersection of 2 roads, (i.e. Main Street & Maple Street). The address will be the selected map point.
Custom: Sets a stop on the selected map point. Also allows for editing the stop description as you set the point.
Calculated Address: The actual point you click on the map.Select the appropriate decision from the pop-up box (nearest student, intersection, etc…).
