Assign Stops to Routes

To activate: Layer Tools / PW Routes tab / Draw and Modify Routes tool dialog / Stops button / Tools menu / Auto Select Stops.

Use the Assign Stops to Routes tool after students have been assigned to stops (Assign Students to Stops), to generate route rosters and rider ship lists.

To Use:

1. Open Layer Tools. Select PW Route tab.

2. Activate Draw and Modify Routes.

3. If desired, dock the dialog.

4. Select the Route and Run stops will be assigned to.

5. Select the Decisions button.

6. Select the active portion of the route. (Students are picked up on this portion of the bus route).

7. Under the Edit menu, select Set Symbol. Set the symbol to 1. The active pick-up portion of the route is now highlighted on the map.

8. Select the Stops button.

9. From the Tools menu, select Auto Select Stops.

10. Select Add Stops.

11. Select Remove 0 Stops to remove all stops without students.

12. Save Route Stops before closing the Route Tools dialog.
