Remove PVA Point Features

Remove PVA point features or Par_ID, RES, or COMM points from their respective layers and remove records from the PVAMap.mdb.  Deleting a point from the map does not automatically remove the feature's record from the PVAMap.mdb and Deleting a record from the PVAMap.mdb does not remove points from the map. Refer to both sections below to completely remove features.

 

 

  1. To remove points from the map (2 options):

  1. Edit the desired layer (Par_ID, RES, or COMM).

  2. Delete the desired point features.

OR

  1. Identify feature to be deleted.

  2. Place a negative (-) in front of the MUID and save edits thereby tagging the feature for deletion.

  3. Run Remove Deletions layer tool.

 

  1. To remove records from the database:

  1. Open the Data Source Manager.

  2. Find the desired layer and open its MAIN table.

  3. Select    .

  4. Find the desired record in the MAIN table (use Sort or SQL).

  5. Under DELETE on the toolbar, select CURRENT RECORD.
