Retrieve Backup Layer

When editing the geometry of a layer in GeoSyncŪ, a backup copy is created and stored in a Datalog prior to editing. If changes were made in error, the backup layer can be retrieved.

To Use:

1. Activate Retrieve Backup Layer tool.

2. Backup files are stored with layer name and time (military time) in dated folders. Select the desired folder and file.

3. Select OK.

4. At the prompt, select Yes to overwrite the existing layer with the backup information.

5. Review the Tool Log to insure the process ran successfully.

6. The Retrieve Backup Layer tool stores a copy of the layer being overwritten just prior to backup retrieval.
