Layer Tools

To activate: Toolbar, or Tools menu

Layer Tools are typically tools which perform processes on layers and features in those layers.  

The Layer Tools dialog contains:

• Toolbar

• Series of tabs which group different layer tools. Available tabs will vary according to the current GeoSync Configuration.

• List of all layers in the current project.

• Tools button - Select to view Layer Tools.

• Log button -  Select to view information pertaining to the most recent completed tool process.

• Report button - Some tools generate a report of found map features.

To use:

1. Activate Layer Tools from the Toolbar or Tools menu.

2. Layer Tools are grouped under tabs. Select desired tab.

3. Select desired tool.

4. Select Run Tool to activate the tool.

5. View information pertinent to a completed tool process by selecting the Log and Report buttons.
