To activate: Layer Tools / Clean Tools tab
Find and report points from multiple point layers whose location is not coincidental to the lines of a selected line layer.
To use:
Open Layer Tools. Select Clean Tools tab.
Activate Find Floating Nodes tool.
The Floating Node Settings dialog appears.
Select the Line Layer to Process.
Check all Point Layers to Process.
Select the Floating Nodes definition:
End Points of Lines Only: GeoSync will find all nodes (point features) that do not fall at the end points (vertices) of line features.
End Points of Segments Only: GeoSync will find all nodes that do not fall at a line feature vertex.
Coincidental to Line: GeoSync will find all nodes that do not fall on a line feature (nodes may fall on lines between vertices).
Select OK.
GeoSync highlights floating nodes on the map view.
On the Layer Tools dialog, select the Report button to view selected features' records.
