Every visible feature in a GeoSync GIS, belongs to layer. Layers are the primary means by which a person stores and utilizes geographic information. Layers are added or created, configured (in Layer Manger), linked to other data sources (i.e. database tables, photos, scanned images, configuration files, etc...) queried, edited, and operated on with Layer Tools in GeoSync.
