To activate: Toolbar, or Tools menu

The Find Address dialog uses data from the Roads layer. The dialog, with its own tool bar, enables the user to locate and zoom to a particular road, as well as mark the location of a specific address value on the map view.  

To use:

1. Activate the Find Address tool dialog.

2. In the long text box, begin typing the name of desired road. Notice that the road names in the list box, just below, change to display roads with matching spelling.    Note: This tool is Case Sensitive

3. Enter the road name or select a road from the list box.

4. Select Find Road from the dialog toolbar.

5.  When the road is found, it becomes highlighted on the map view.

6. To view a selected road more closely, select  Zoom Selection from the dialog toolbar.

7. To find a particular address on the selected road, type the desired address number in the smaller text box and then select Find Address from the dialog toolbar.  

8. A marker appears on the map view at the calculated address location.
