A geodatabase is a database management system in which a set of geographic information, both coordinate and attribute, is stored. The geodatabase is useful in handling large data sets, such as a Parcels or Roads layer. Data is saved in either an Access or SQL database, allowing for the import / export of all or selected data sets into a GeoSync project.  Some of the advantages associated with using a geodatabase include simplified support and maintenance of data and multiple-user editing of data sets.

The geodatabase is available when GeoSync is configured certain Applications. For more, see Configure GeoSync
