Add New Layer to GeoDatabase

To activate:

Adding a new layer to the Geodatabase is a simple process; however, there are certain steps that must be followed in order for the Geodatabase to link correctly to GeoSync.

To use:

1. Open the GeoDatabase (a Microsoft Access data file).

2. Find and open the LAYER_NAMES table.

3. Add a new record.

4. Fill in the fields in the table (ALL FIELDS ARE MANDATORY):  

LAYER_NAME

TABLE_NAME

QUERY_NAME

LAYER_TYPE

LYR_PREFIX

5. Do not duplicate layer names, table names, query names, or prefixes.

6. Save the edited table.

7. Create the new layer table is the next step.
