GPS to GeoSync

Bring data collected via GPS into GeoSync.

1. Export a Shapefile of corrected data from a GPS data processing application such as Trimble's Pathfinder Office.

2. Add the Shapefile as a layer to GeoSync. Note: The Shapefile cannot have the same name as a current layer in the GeoSync project.

3. Optionally, Append the new GPS layer to a master layer. Then remove the GPS layer as its information is now part of the master layer's. For example, a new road centerlines file named GPS_ROADS has been created and added to GeoSync. The layer is then appended to the ROADS layer. Lastly, the GPS_ROADS layer is removed from GeoSync.
