GeoSync utilizes a Project File (a Microsoft Access Database or .mdb file) to store assorted information including:

• The identity and file paths of project layers or Shapefiles.

• The way in which features in those layers appear in the GeoSync Map View (Symbol Settings)

• Project Settings

• Map Tips and Quick Searches

Other information potentially utilized in a GeoSync project is stored in external databases, and configuration files.

The Project File is composed several tables:
