Part of what makes a GIS valuable as a tool is the ability to link information to a geographically referenced graphic or map feature. Information linked to a map feature in GeoSync and stored as part of a Shapefile (as a .dbf file) is referred to as Feature Attribute Data. Feature attribute data can be viewed and edited with the Identify tool or Selection Report.
