Add Record

To activate: Identify dialog toolbar

While a feature is added to a layer by editing the layer and then drawing the feature, records can be added to external database tables through the Identify Record dialog. By using Add Record from the Identify dialog, GeoSync will add records to an external database table and link the record to map feature being identified (using common MUIDs).

To use:

1. Identify desired map feature.

2. Select a tab other than Shape. (The Add Record tool only works on external database tables. To add a record to a GeoSync layer, see Draw & Edit Map Features)

3. Activate Add Record from the Identify dialog toolbar.
