To Activate: Standard and Layout View Toolbars
Quickly place labels on map view for a selected layer. One Quick Label theme may be active per layer at a given time. The Quick Labeler is useful when printing a map from Layout View or when using Copy Map tool
To Use:
Make desired layer current.
Activate Quick Label tool.
Select Field to label from.
Click OK.
To Remove Quick Label:
Make desired layer current.
Click Remove Quick Label tool on toolbar.
Additional Settings:
Set Label Position to place label above, on , or below feature
Check Duplicates to allow labels with identical values to appear on the map
Check the Mask Text box to place a colored rectangle around each label
Select a Mask Color.
Select a Font Color
