To activate: Layer Tools / E911 tab

Set the preferences for a point layer before offsetting. The Offset Points and Road Address tools will not work if E911 settings are absent or incorrect.

Data fields in the points layer do not have to be an exact match to the GeoSync E911 standard for the tools to work. E911 settings allow layer fields to be manually matched to the E911 standard.

To use:

1. Activate E911 Settings tool.

2. Use the pull down menus to match fields from the project’s point layer (right list) to GeoSync® standards (left list).
